Sunshine Room
The Sunshine Room is divided into two age appropriate areas for babies and toddlers.
The Baby Area has open floor space and low level activities for babies to explore. Our focus is on a sensory, holistic based approach to learning.
The Toddler Area has age appropriate equipment and activities encouraging an investigative approach to learning.
The daily routine is varied and planned in accordance with The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and the children's interests.
The children are introduced to a wide range of activities enabling them to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
Through participating in singing, rhymes and musical activities children develop their language skills and increase confidence.
Emphasis is on providing stimulating play experiences in a warm and caring atmosphere with lots of love and cuddles!
There is also a quiet, spacious sleep room for our children to access which incorporates a large viewing window enabling staff to easily monitor each child as they sleep while ensuring they are not disturbed unnecessarily.
(Baby monitors and 10 min checks are also in use for added safety)
